A refuge to enter, put down your bags, and just surrender to BEing — in the frequency of compassion. 6 fun things about me

  1. My favorite color is eggplant.  My favorite question is why is it called an eggplant.

  2. When I got pregnant with my daughter 25 years ago, I had a knowing that this new energy field within me was going to “move around my furniture.” That happened in more ways than one!   I saw also that we would work together side by side, without knowing exactly how.  That has all come to pass!

  3. I believe we are far more powerful and capable of change than we give ourselves credit for. 

  4. I was born on a full moon.  It’s fun to figure out what phase the moon was in on your birthday.

  5. I wrote my college entrance essay on the phrase “Know thyself,” which is written on the gate of the Oracle of Delphi.  Such a teenage philosopher! 4 years later I wrote my thesis on female desire and auto-eroticism in the works of Marguerite Duras, the French writer who wrote The Lover.  I guess discovering what lights you up as a unique individual has been my main interest for years.

  6. I trust when my questions turn into quests.  If I wonder about something, it’s usually a clue that I am meant to learn more and dig deeper.

  • Reiki attunement by healer Suzanne Gallo at the completions of my very first level 1 Spirit of Reiki Certification during the pandemic.

  • Academic realm: graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College. Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in medieval French Literature. Was award-winning teacher at UPenn and adjunct Professor at Boston College.

  • In the “what I was born into” life realm, I have been a belly dance and circus artist and entertainer since childhood, doing shows around the world and learning from many different contexts and cultures. I have been clown, juggler, acrobat and dancer. Moving / conducting energy and helping people smile, dance and enjoy life more has always been part of my mission & matrix.
