“The Fine Print”

Studio policies: refunds & cancellations - updated and applicable from February 5 2026

  • No guests/ guardians are permitted in the studio or studio waiting room during classes or private lessons.

    All Students must be dropped off for class and comfortable attending class on their own.

    There are a number of lovely places to explore around Moody street. Check out:

  • Cancellations for circus arts or belly dance classes must be made at least 36 hours in advance of the class start time in order for the registrant to receive a refund of the cost of the class minus a $5 processing fee.

    Cancellations made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled class can be rescheduled to another open and available class date. The “make-up” date must be chosen and communicated to MSC by the student within 24 hours of their cancellation notice. The newly scheduled class is non-transferrable/ non-cancellable.

    Last minute cancellations and no-shows forfeit payment for class and do not have the opportunity to reschedule.

  • Circus Arts and Belly Dance MINI-SESSION or CHOREO PROJECT cancellations must be made at least 36 hours in advance of the first class of the session in order to receive a refund of the cost of the session minus a $5 processing fee.

    There are no refunds or make-ups available for dancers who cancel during a belly dance session.

    For Circus Arts students who have been approved to miss a class during a choreography project will be offered an Open Studio Session to make-up the material.

    Students who wish to register for a choreography project knowing they may miss a class should reach out to discuss options.

  • PRIVATE LESSON cancellations must be made at least 36 hours in advance of the session in order for the registration to receive a refund of the cost of the lesson minus a $5 processing fee.

    Cancellations made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled class can be rescheduled to another open and available lesson time. The “make-up” date must be chosen and communicated to MSC by the student within 24 hours of their cancellation notice. The newly scheduled date is non-transferrable/ non-cancellable.

  • There are no refunds and no returns for purchases of Moody Street Circus products such as: swag (clothing items, notebooks, etc), choreography cards, belly dance on-demand videos, or other digital purchases.

  • Doors to the studio open 10 minutes before class.

    TARDINESS POLICY: For student safety, doors will be LOCKED 10 minutes after class start-time and payment for class forfeited. Please make an effort to arrive on time (5 minutes before a classes scheduled start).

  • The studio is open by appointment only.

    No drop ins.

    Advanced registration is required for every class.
