LEVEL RECOMMENDATIONS:

BWYB CP is best suited for aerialists comfortable inverting multiple times throughout a practice session. From the air, students should be able to invert, hipkey and wheel down with straight legs with control.

It is recommended to have at least 16 feet of fabric for this choreography to be performed as taught in this breakdown.

There are four major sequences in this choreography: one from thigh hitch, one from a catchers wrap, one from loops and one knee tangle/ S-wrap. Students are encouraged to make modifications to make the skills and timing work for them in this choreography, or just follow along to learn a few new techniques and skills.

———————————-

The automatic download link for this choreography PDF expires 24 hours after the first download. Make sure to save the PDF to your desk top or phone for continuous access! Once you’ve downloaded the file, click the image or “play” button to open the tutorial. You can also save each video file by downloading from VIMEO.

———————————-

DISCLAIMER: Aerial arts are a VERY dangerous practice. They require body awareness, control (ability to hold positions and move through pathways with respect for transitions), and strength built through good form habits learned in classes and lessons with a qualified coach. Learning from online resources can be a great avenue when also accompanied by hands-on coaching - there are many nuances to aerial wraps and positioning, engagement or control of the body that are difficult to understand the reasoning or importance behind. Always work safely over a mat and always try new things from the ground first! All exercises in this manual are executed at your own risk. Moody Street Circus LLC and all persons involved in the creation of this guide will not accept responsibility for injury to any degree as a result of practicing the drills in this manual. Always consult a professional rigger to make sure your apparatus is safe.

Skills are best ”unwrapped” with a coach at your side!
