The Hipkey Drill Manual is a 17 paged illustrated DIGITAL document which includes hyperlinks to 18 mini video demonstrations that correspond to the multiple exercises and tips on how to “unlock” the full potential of your hipkey and hipkey roll up through a windmill hipkey philosphy. Whatever moment of the hipkey you’re struggling to overcome, there is a drill to help you to improve and strengthen to safely reach new heights!

Corresponding videos for the drills and exercises in this book are hyperlinked throughout the document.

This material is designed for an intermediate to advanced aerialist or coach. It is recommended that the aerialists using this download or practicing the drills be able to complete at least 1 pull up from a dead hang, be able to invert to a straddle from the ground and be able to enter a hipkey (from any method).

  • All drills included in this manual require access to a safe rigging point of aerial silks and a mat.

  • The drills require no more than 2 climbs worth of height. The majority of the drills can be executed from the ground.
