Designed for dancers who love to dance!
Melina’s Belly Dance Choreography Cards are made up of 2 decks, to be shuffled & drawn from separately. The two decks communicate with each other & spark imagination to help you create unique sequences. The choreography task deck (Blue) has prompts for specific steps and dance skills that are fairly universal within the world of belly dance. The movement prompt deck (Purple) is about layering on imagination, storytelling, stage direction, emotionality, texture & poetic energies to the choreography task.
Each deck has 45 cards (90 total) which allows for dancers to develop a plethora of possible combinations and choreographies with a single deck.
A new dance story emerges each time you play.
We are all born play-full beings. We are natural creators, dancers & visionaries, but sometimes we forget, or culture tells us otherwise. These cards serve the highest vibration intention to play and to move. It is often in play -- with gentle challenges outside of our experience or control -- that we learn, grow and rise to occasions we never dreamt of. These cards present a movement matrix of imagination & the vital encouragement of "why not try?"
