Best for aerialists who can already cleanly invert consistently in practice and flow through 4-5 skills in a row.
Zoë’s Aerial Hoop Choreography Card’s consist of 2 sets of cards: Choreography Tasks, or the “skills” (the cool deck), and Movement Prompts, or the “artistic quality of your movement” (the warm deck). Each deck has 45 cards (90 total) which allows for aerialists to develop a plethora of possible combinations and choreographies with a single deck.
The instructional booklet includes details on how to “play” and use the cards for choreography inspiration and creating original sequences and combos. One of the goals of the Aerial Hoop Choreography Cards is to help aerialists exercise creativity and choreography as if it is another muscle to be conditioned! We know choreographing can be a daunting experience… so these cards were developed to help facilitate new ways of transitioning, skills and movement quality. Additionally we have included some training tips and mindful movement tools so the cards lead you from the beginning of the choreography process to a beautiful finished flow!
This deck challenges your skill recollection, aerial endurance and creative mind! If you haven't trained to think of sequencing in this way, your first few attempts at choreographing with the Aerial Hoop Choreography Card decks may be challenging!
