These classes are appropriate for all levels of dance student and for those who are interested in a somatic understanding of tarot through body movement and belly dance.

In May we explore the symbolism and energies of #9 - The Hermit / Crone and The Moon (Major Arcana card #18 - 1+8 = 9). As we belly dance in these energies we shine the light of awareness into our inner landscape. We move feeling into body, tuning into our authentic rhythms and honoring our inner knowings by flowing them with undulations, lemniscates and rhythmic responses.

In May we will be attending to aspects of 9:

The rhythm of 9/8 in belly dance and how it connects us to the cycles of the moon and the wisdom of Moon goddess Hekate.

How can we weave the 9 muses into our dance.

How our dancing bodies can be light bearers for the collective.
