Moody Street Circus offers Circus Birthday Parties where children can learn real circus skills from real circus stars: Moody Street Circus Directors & Cirque Passion co-founders Sacha and Melinda Pavlata

We provide the beautiful circus studio, festive party-balloons atmosphere, and careful instruction on real circus equipment by circus professionals Sacha and Melinda Pavlata. 

Rates start at $350 for a 2-hour circus instruction party for up to - and not exceeding - 10 kids total. 

Parents bring the goody bags, the birthday cake and candles and whatever else they want to offer their children’s guests. MSC provides the tables to put everything on, table coverings, disposable plates and forks, chairs and balloons, and most importantly: safe and fun circus instruction.



Birthday parties begin with kids warming up on the mat, light tumbling, partner tumbling where kids work together, and fun pyramid formation. 
We then demonstrate and teach the kids circus skills on the static trapeze, cloud swing, aerial hoop (lyra), silks/fabric, rolla bolla, low wire, rolling globe, juggling.

The birthday party session ends with all the kids lining up for jumping from the mini-trampoline to the crash pad, then everyone moves on to the dance floor area for cake and party wrap up.

Participants should come dressed prepared for circus action: footless leggings and short, leotards or tight-fitting shirts so kids can safely focus on skills and not be distracted by floppy clothing that rides up. No jeans, zippers or jewelry.

Belly Dance and hoop dance fun can also be included in the package for all-girls parties, just let us know.

INFO & ATTIRE FOR CIRCUS BIRTHDAYS:

Moody Street Circus is a gum-free & street-shoe free studio for both the kids and the adults that deliver, visit the space and pick them up.  Circus Classes are conducted barefoot or in socks, but indoor-use only sneakers and/or acrobatic shoes are suggested for work on unicycle and low wire.  Long hair must be worn pulled back in a pony-tail or in braids.  We go upside-down on equipment and always follow the SAFETY FIRST! Rule, so: Leotards and leggings with shorts for girls, shorts and close-fitting shirts that can be well-tucked in for boys.  Campers should not be worried about tucking in their shirts when they are upside down, it is very distracting and dangerous when you are learning new tricks. It is helpful if kids wear clothes that cover the backs of the knees (helpful when hanging upside down), and under the armpits (helpful when climbing and doing tricks on the silks).
